You may have heard about the big upcoming 2.0 update! While we haven't ironed out all of the details quite yet, here's what we're planning so far:



When is it coming out?


June 22, 2023


Will there be a fee to upgrade from version 1?


Yes. While we haven't settled on an amount, we plan on keeping it low. We don't want to gouge you! The upgrade will be free for customers who purchased Syntorial after March 1, 2023, as well as customers who purchased Syntorial during the 2022 Black Friday sale.


What are some of the new features?


Among other features, 2.0 will include:

  • Brand new modernized interface (with resizability)
  • Content refresh: Remade videos and challenge refinements
  • New Randomizer feature that will let you generate new challenge patches on the fly, for endless practice.
  • Random patch generator in the Standalone synth and Primer
  • Broken up Group lessons that only require 3 patches to pass, with an optional bonus round of 3 additional patches
  • Improved challenge scoring
  • New synth Visualizer with real-time animation of the Envelopes and LFO
  • And more to come...
